At College Planning & Tutorial Center, we strive to create a blueprint4college that meets each student's individual needs. Planning begins in middle school, choosing the appropriate courses to ensure acceptance to specific colleges and majors. We create an environment that fosters learning, growth, and personal development.
Founded in 2005, College Planning & Tutorial Center has been dedicated to helping students achieve their goals for over 19 years. We have a proven track record of success and are committed to continuing to provide high-quality education for years to come. We also work with students on 504's and IEP's. There is a college for everyone, it just takes planning.
Our team of experienced educators are passionate about helping all students succeed. We have a diverse group of instructors, counselors, and support staff who are committed to providing our students with the tools and opportunities necessary to realize each individual goal and objective.

Believe it or not, our students who start in the 6th grade are well ahead of the curve. Spanish 1, 2, and 3 are completed before high school. This leaves more room for classes that make a difference.
Costs vary according to service provided: Tutoring, Test Preparation, College Planning, Practice tests, week-long classes etc.
Merit scholarships are based on test scores 80% of the time. This year, merit scholarships are more important than ever, so you should start preparing today! Today, the ACT has been revamped and is more widely accepted. With more time and less questions and online or paper and pencil, it is the preferred choice with students.
Colleges look at unweighted GPAs and a rigorous course schedule to determine acceptance.
Higher acceptance rate and commitment. Always apply Early Action - as merit money is awarded on a first come first serve basis.
Please attend one of our seminars in the fall or spring to find out the answer to this question.....
Admission Counselors are looking for a narrative, something about you that they can not find anywhere else in the application. They are NOT looking for an essay. Tell your story, what makes you stand out? One of my students wrote about being a doodler and received many acceptances. He is actually at UCLA today.
